Pattern Making- with Anne Lohrentz
Pattern Making- with Anne Lohrentz
Date: Date to be confirmed 2025
Time: 10 am to 3 pm
Imagine having a personally curated pattern block that you can adapt into any number of
designs.
Under Anne’s guidance, you will use personal measurements to draft a pattern. You will
then make and fit a toile (sample mock-up) of your block. Specific fit amendments will then
be transferred to a final customized block template. This will reflect your unique body
shape/measurements and be a perfect starting point for future patterns.
Anne will then introduce key pattern-making techniques to demonstrate how you can use
your curated block to generate different styles through the development of a series of
quarter/half-scale adaptations.
All teaching will be conducted by demonstrations with supporting step-by-step visual aids
and notes.
